Our Story
After five years of working alongside students and supporting their studies as a tutor, our founder Lauren McQueen realised that confidence and communication were traits that were integral to academic success. They enabled her students to drastically change their grades and how they viewed themselves as a whole.

She found that languages were subjects in which students could experience the most change. It encourages them to challenge themselves and learn that confidence in their subject is a skill that they can build.

Our Method
We offer personalised tutoring sessions which encourage students to discuss their subjects, their challenges and their strengths. This enables them to take control of their education and work towards the best grades possible for themselves. We believe that empowering students to assess how they feel about their studies and their abilities is a life-skill that will help support them not only in their exams but also later in life.

For students taking qualifications such as GCSE’s and A Levels, we follow curriculums by exploring marks chemes, examiner reports and past papers so that they feel as prepared as possible for their assessments.
Our Expertise
First-Class with Honours in Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies
September 2020 – July 2024
Studying at the University of Manchester, Lauren immersed herself in language learning. She was able to study abroad at the University of Alcalá de Henares and the University of Coimbra and truly put her languages to practice. She left university with a First-Class degree, a distinction in Spoken Spanish and an arsenal of advice for students who hope to follow in her footsteps.
Working as an Online Languages Tutor
Since September 2021
Whilst studying, Lauren was able to share her language learning tips and tricks to younger students across the UK as an online tutor. She has seen many students transform under her care - achieving grades three times higher than what they were predicted and being more secure in their abilities.
